Advantages of Natural Gas
Natural gas is great for heating and/or cooking in your home or business. Natural Gas has an outstanding safety record due to its natural make-up. It has a very narrow range of flammability, natural gas can only attain combustion in a concentration of 4 to 15 percent per volume of air. Anything above and below these amounts, it will not burn.
Natural gas is lighter than air and dissipates into the air very quickly so accidental combustion is difficult. Natural gas ignites at a very high temperature, at about 1100 degrees Fahrenheit, This is almost twice the ignition temperature for gasoline.
All this combined, the accidental ignition or combustion of natural gas is unlikely. We are here to help you learn how clean burning natural gas is safely used in your home or business.

- Check the exhaust vent to make sure it is clean and open since any gas that does not burn completely can create carbon monoxide. Carbon Monoxide is also a gas with no color, odor or taste.
